This Intial Decal by Badass Decals is the perfect thing for anyone who wants to personalize their space. Because it is removable it can be used by apartment dwellers and be taken down when they move. It comes in a wide range of color choices as well as a few specialty reflective colors, chrome and metallic finishes for an additional charge. It provides alot of bang for the buck because it can be highly personalized at the bargain price of $18.
What is your "real" life like?
"Real" life is mainly work…this is a full time job for both of us, and part time for a few others. We are constantly working. We even have this miniature laptop that we bring everywhere so we can always answer emails and convos.
We occasionally get out for a ride on our motorcycles, or take them to the track. We've got two dogs,
We design all of our decals on the computer, and cut everything out of vinyl rolls using one of our vinyl cutters.
What are your goals and vision?
Short term…keep growing. Long term…keep growing. : )
We mainly just market our products through our Etsy shops and our websites, www.dalidecals.com and www.badasscustomdecals.com. We are currently in the process of rebuilding our Badass Custom Decals site.
We focus on organic search engine optimization, and some sponsored ad campaigns on various search engines. We also get a good amount of publicity through various blogs around the internet.
What inspires you?
Heh…anything can inspire us. It's really a lot of fun coming up with ideas. Pretty much anything can be made into some sort of decal.
There are lots, but I'd have to say the top few are Tool and Thievery Corporation
What are two of your favorite things from your shop?
This is way too tough a question. There are too many that I like, and there are many that haven't even been added to our sites. It's way too difficult to just choose two. We actually have 15 decals up all over our house.

I love photography and gardening, spending time with my family, and working on my painted creations for my Etsy shop!
The paints I use are typically Apple Barrel Gloss acrylic paints. I love to use stencils or even decopage techniques. A lot of times though, I simply free-hand it. I painted both my daughters rooms simply by eye. Hannah's room is based off of The Little Mermaid, complete with fish, seaweed, and a ceiling full of stars. Emma's room is a bit more girly. I painted an indoor garden for her with Sweet Peas and Sunflowers climbing a picket fence and birds flying into a painted wooden birdhouse (I sell painted birdhouses in my Etsy shop!).
Long term, I would love to see me business grow; perhaps expand and do some craft shows or even have my goods in some stores located across the country. That would be really exciting!
The "NOEL" letters just in time for Christmas. They just came out so cute- love them! (pictured to the right)
and my "A to Z" Bookends. I have seen these used with a child's initials, and thought they would be super cute with an A and Z! These can be personalized with a certain color or design too!
